Tennessee Public Chapter 1101, Growth Planning Legislation

Under PC 1101, GNRC has provided planning technical support and assistance to area cities and counties to aid their implementation of the law. GNRC worked closely with most of the region's 12 County Coordinating Committees in their operations, assisting with organization, time tables, planning requirements, and other facets of the requirements of preparing the 20 Year Growth Plans. GNRC also assisted Stewart, Houston and Wilson Counties with direct plan preparation and support. All of GNRC's technical assistance support work for PC 1101 was in close day-to-day association with MTAS, CTAS, TACIR, ECD Local Planning and others.
