GNRC Publishes List of Federally Obligated Transportation Projects for Nashville Area MPO
The GNRC serves as administrator and professional staff to the Transportation Policy Board of the Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). The MPO is the federally designated regional transportation planning agency for Davidson, Maury, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties.
Federal law requires MPOs across the nation to publish a list of federal funding "obligations" on transportation improvements located within their respective planning areas within 90 days of the end of the federal fiscal year. A federal obligation represents the represents a binding agreement that will result in outlays, immediately or in the future.
